2021 Lorenza Cinsaut is a transparent garnet color, perfumed with red fruits and baking spices. Delicate flavors of fraises des bois, rose petals, Ranier cherries, cardamon, cinnamon and nutmeg continue onto the palate and through to the energetic finish. Slightly chilled, it adds a joyful note to our lighter meals this summer with friends and family.
Since you're following us, likely you've heard about the legendary Bechthold Vineyard which has been our long term source of Cinsaut, a small yet revered component in our rosé. This vineyard was planted in 1886 making it one of the oldest vineyard sites in California. Cinsaut is a juicy grape with low tannins and, like other varieties we make, not widely planted in California.

Important note about shipping: Due to the delicate nature of this special wine, ground shipping during the summer is available only in CA. Shipments to other states will be automatically held until the weather cools this fall or upgrade to 2 day air during checkout. And of course local pick up in St. Helena is always available.
