The maritime influence of the California Delta on fruit grown in Lodi is quite similar to the Mediterranean in Southern France. Plenty of sunshine, cool breezes and sandy soils lead to an early season harvest. Our grapes, cool from the night air, go direct to press, followed by a long cool fermentation in stainless steel. Restraint, gentle handling and a delicate pressing maintain the beautiful pale hue and clean fresh flavors. The wine is carbonated post blend and finished with a crown cap for spontaneous celebrations!
