2021 Lorenza Harvest Report
The Lorenza 2021 harvest began on August 19th and ended on the full moon of September 20th. Thanks to our talented team and with the cooperation of Mother Nature, everything went off without a hitch.
After a drought year, the yields were low, producing balanced and highly expressive juice. The cellar actually smelled like a lovely fruit salad. For rosé and fresh white wine, the journey to the bottle is a relatively short process - a matter of months. After fermentations are complete, we do take our time on the rosé blend with several blending trials. It was our first year making Picpoul Blanc and we are so pleased with the wine!
We feel energized, inspired and supported by our community here in Lodi. After our 14th harvest, we still absolutely love our work. Every long day and short night is worth it to make our wine for you. Thank you for being here with us and supporting wine made by women.
